Oh Happy Easter

Let me tell you why I haven't been doing anything lately:

-I had to visit family for the whole day during Easter

-I'm kinda tired because I'm back at school now...so I haven't really felt like posting.

-I'm too busy saying "foooooooooooooo"

I'm going to be posting what I missed this week sometime over the next few days. Sorry all this!

New iPhone/iPod Touch Wallpapers!

You may have heard...there is now wallpapers in the Wallpapers Page that are sized to fit the screens of iPod touches and iPhones. They are fit to match the longer screen of the latest models, but will still can adjust with older models of iPod/iPhones. I added 9 new iOS wallpapers yesterday, and I added 3 newer ones today. The ones I posted today include Mega Salamence, Goomy, and Flaming Pachirisu. Go check it out for yourself!

Super Smash Bros Returning Characters Predictions!

This is my second post today! YAY! Normally I don't post two times in a day, but with being behind on many things I need to do, I am today.

Today I'll be discussing the new Super Smash Bros games coming out for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U! I'm really excited for this game, and you should be too.

Mwahahaha

Everyone is talking about the character roster. Which characters will return? Who will the newcomers be? How much total characters will there be? How much newcomers will there be? There are lots of irritating questions about it.

What I'm most curious about is which playable characters will return. These are all the characters that have not yet been confirmed to return in the new games:

Ness, Jigglypuff, and Captain Falcon are definitely returning. They are "veterans" and have been around for the whole Smash Bros series. They have to return.

I think that Wolf, ROB and Snake are not going to return. Wolf is not a very good character overall, and I don't really think Star Fox should have three characters representing the series. There is not much Star Fox games and there hasn't been any new ones recently. ROB might not return because he's more of an accessory/toy than a game character and he is not a very popular character. Snake is very likely to not return. Supposedly he was only put in Brawl as a favor to someone who works on the Metal Gear Solid games, and Snake is also third party. He doesn't even belong in the Super Smash Bros games. Lucas might not return as he is not much different than Ness. Falco is very likely to return as a playable character because he is very popular among players.

Smash Bros News! :D

You might have heard..two new Smash Bros games are coming out this year, with the 3DS version coming out this summer and the Wii U version coming out this December. Both games feature the same roster of characters, but different stages for each version. I'm really looking forward to playing these games! :D

Today, some important details were revealed about the games in a Nintendo Direct. Charizard returns as a playable character, but his trainer seems to be absent this time arounf. It is unknown if Squirtle or Ivysaur will return. Most likely not. Charizard can even Mega-evolve, as so can Lucario. It's very likely that these will be their final smashes--it's not yet confirmed.

I'm just as shocked as you are. I was thinking that Tom Nook might be a playable character, but I was wrong. Tom Nook is simply part of the Villager's final smash. :(

The Wallpaper Revolution!

I haven't posted a wallpaper in a while, but I did today! It is actually a wallpaper I made more than a month ago and it features Pokemon that Sean actually used in his Pokemon X Nuzlocke! It's a grand collage that took me a few weeks to make. He suggested that I should post it, so I did. :)

In other news, I'm going to start making iPad and iPhone wallpapers! These will be similiar to the regular wallpapers, but in a format to fit the screen size of those devices. Those wallpapers will include ones for:

iPod touch Gen 4 and 5
iPad mini and regular iPad
iPhone

You will start seeing these types of wallpapers this Saturday.

Decorations!

Today you might have noticed that Emolga's Place looks a bit different. This is because I "decorated" the background and header in celebration of St. Patrick's Day! When a holiday or special occasion comes up I'll usually change the header and background again. Don't worry--it'll only look different for a little while and then I'll change it back to normal. The next time I'll decorate is for...well..I can't tell you right now. However, I can tell you that I'm doing it on March 22nd. The St. Patrick's Day decorations will be removed on March 18th.

Disappointment...

Once again, I have failed to provide a surefire post for Saturdays. I was unable to edit the Pokemon Yellow Nuzlocke footage, so I will have to find something else to do on Saturdays... I'll most likely do Pokemon Hacks and Mods, but in the meantime, you'll get another Featured Remix today. Thank you for your time.

Another Schedule Change

I hate to change the schedule after hyping it so much, but unfortunately I have to cancel Paper Mario. I hate to do this because I was really looking forward to it, but editing and recording it is too difficult for me to handle with the equipment I currently have. I will be putting up a new poll for what I'll be doing on Saturdays from now on, so hopefully Saturdays can have something permanent from now on. Thank you for your time.

The New Kalos Pokedolls ARE HERE!

Today, new pokedolls were released: Litleo, Pancham, Swirlix, and Clauncher!

Wait, Bunnelby was released too? Eh, who cares.

I'm definetly going to get Swirlix! I think Litleo's head looks way too big. His eyes are freakishly large, also.... it's kind of creepy but cute at the same time. Pancham looks like somebody stomped on him. He's so darn flat! This thing isn't a pancham, it's a pancake! Oh, and there's Bunnelby too....

Today's a Derpy Day

Hi peoples :D Today I plan to make a wallpaper, but there's something significant about it today:

That's right, you didn't guess it! I'm planning to make a speed painting of this wallpaper! Hopefully that'll happen if nothing goes wrong so look forward to it! Also, try to guess what the new wallpaper will be!

Hint: The wallpapers button and something above that may help you guess!

Admin and News!

SOOOO... If you may have read I am an Emolga's Place Admin for a little bit! Call me a Swagmin!!! So sadly Alex doesn't feel like posting tonight... But Sean did so go check out his remix of the week! I would like to thank Alex for my button is pretty pretty, shiny shiny! So have a good night y'all!

Schedule Update!

Starting next week, my posting schedule will be revised. Most things will stay the same, but there are some major changes that I'd like to discuss.

Sunday: Showdown Sunday (Same as before)
Monday: Monotype Monday (Same as before)
Tuesday: Competitive Crunch (Different)
Wednesday: Nothing! (Same as before)
Thursday: Pokemon Collage (Same)
Friday: Featured Remix (Same)
Saturday: Paper Mario Episode (Different)


Two changes are present here. The first one is that Tuesday is now "Competitive Crunch". This is basically the same thing as Strategy Saturday, except it has a different name and it's on a different day. If you've watched certain YouTube videos, you may find that this name isn't very creative.

The other one is the one I want to talk about: Saturdays feature a Paper Mario Episode. I mentioned in a post several days ago that I might be starting a Paper Mario playthrough, so I decided to put those on Saturday.There is a poll up now until next Tuesday that will let you vote which Paper Mario game I'll end up playing. I'm not sure how I'll upload the video, but it will most likely be on YouTube. I'd also need to figure out a good way to record the footage, which is why I'm giving myself a little time to figure these thing out because the schedule update will start next week. 

Votes for Monotype Monday will not occur anymore, so unfortunately you probably won't be seeing anything from me until the collage on Thursday. Saturday will be the second and final Strategy Saturday before it moves to the Competitive Crunch segment on Tuesdays.

Hopefully you're looking forward to seeing some Paper Mario next Saturday! See you Thursday!

I'm really glad to be a part of Emolga's Place! If you scroll to the way bottom, you'll see my schedule. Here is a more in-depth description of it:


Mondays will be Monotype Monday! Monotype is only one type of Pokemon, such as Fire, Electric, or Dragon. I will be posting the replays of these battles on Pokemon Showdown.

Tuesday is the day you will vote for the type I'll use on the next Monotype Monday. The poll is always on the right side of the homepage.

Wednesday is a day when I'm normally pretty busy, so I won't be posting anything. :(

On Thursdays, I will post a Pokemon Collage! Not a college, but a collage composed of pictures off of the Interwebs.

On Fridays, I'll post a link to a Pokemon remix off of YouTube.

On Saturdays, I will give you some insight on some competitive battling strategy you can use to battle others online!

On Sundays, I'll post a featured battle that I had on Showdown.
